Our school community came out in full force to kick off the new school year at our Back-to-School Picnic, and it was such a joy to see.🧺 Families and students shared snacks, connected with neighbors, and jumped into friendly competition over Jenga, co****le, football, Connect Four, and more!😊

We were thrilled to welcome some special guests: Officer Joe and Hope, Central Falls Police Department's compassion dog🐾, who brought smiles to so many faces, along with our beloved mascot Larry, who made his big return cheering everyone on!⚡️

Moments like these remind us what makes our community so special. Thank you to everyone who came out!

🎉 Big thanks to Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation for a $5,000 grant supporting our Accelerated Learning Lab (ALL) program!

For the 25-26 school year, ALL reached a record 237 students with personalized math and literacy support. The program combined small-group tutoring with certified teachers and independent learning time, both during and after the school day.

"What does it mean to have a great heart?"💛

That's the question some of our 4th grade students started exploring last week, and it set the tone for everything else. They met new classmates, built positive self-talk posters to lean on when things feel hard, and started digging into multiplication through comparisons in math.

But maybe the biggest lesson? What it takes to be a great teammate, and how to make a classroom feel like a safe place to try, fail, and grow.☺️

It’s only been three days, but our new students are already learning their way around The LC and becoming part of our school family.💙

One of our kindergarten students drew this picture of our school, and we love seeing The LC through their eyes! 🥹🏫

From learning new routines and meeting new friends to getting to know their teachers and classrooms, it’s been a great start to the school year.

Back like we never left!🎒

The hallways are full again with new backpacks, fresh haircuts, clean uniforms, and smiling, eager faces ready to learn!💙 From learning new routines to reconnecting with friends and teachers, our students are already settling in and getting back into the rhythm of school.

Here’s to a new year of learning, growing, and friendship!🤓

What a summer!☀️ Our Summer Program students tie-dyed shirts, tried cooking, experimented with Mad Science, met a magician, visited a waterpark, picked berries, explored aboard the Blackstone Valley Explorer, spent a day at Spring Lake, created arts and crafts, solved puzzles, and so much more!

Most importantly, they made new friends, created great memories, and are ready for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 26!🎒

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back!⚡
