Thank you to the Men of Bradford for putting out this awesome PSA, and a huge shoutout to Tyler LaCross for his amazing editing skills!
We know you’re all tired of hearing about Car Line. Honestly, we’re tired of talking about it too! 😂

Here’s the important part: High school students dismiss first, so their parents need to be the first ones on campus. Lower School families come next, followed by Middle School.

Middle School parents, please remember that your children’s instructional day does not end until 3:30 PM. When you arrive early, you block traffic and prevent Upper School and Lower School cars from getting through. We do not have anywhere to safely accommodate you while you wait for your child’s instructional day to end.

Please help us by arriving at the appropriate time and following the car line procedures. I promise it will move so much faster when we don’t have to ask cars to leave campus, which only slows down everyone coming in.

We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and help! We can make Car Line work smoothly if we all work together.

This summer, Zach Tait and Nicholas Shabosky had the incredible honor of representing Bradford Prep School at the Best Buddies International Leadership Conference in Indiana!

This year’s conference, themed “One Team, One World,” celebrated the power of friendship, leadership, and inclusion. The boys had the opportunity to hear from and meet an amazing lineup of advocates, performers, and changemakers, including Holly Robinson Peete, Broadway stars Brody Grant and Sharon Katherine Brown, Love on the Spectrum cast members Madison Marilla and Subodh Garg, and the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders!

One of the highlights was meeting Anthony K. Shriver, founder of Best Buddies International, and learning alongside other young leaders from around the world.

Being selected for this experience was a tremendous honor, and Zach and Nicholas represented Bradford Prep with enthusiasm, pride, and heart. We couldn't be prouder of them!

As the school year begins we are thankful for all of the students who call Bradford their school of choice. This year it is a bittersweet beginning as two of our extraordinary students have left to accept an incredible and exciting opportunity. Thomas Lamb and Bhavani Palpanoori.

We are so proud of Bhavani and Thomas as they begin this exciting new chapter!

It’s hard to believe that Thomas started his journey at Bradford in first grade, and now we’re so incredibly proud to share that he will be attending the NCSSM Morganton campus!

The North Carolina School of Science and Math is the nation’s first public residential high school focused on science and mathematics, and admission is highly selective. This is an incredible opportunity for Thomas to challenge himself academically, explore advanced programs and research, and learn alongside amazing students and faculty.

Watching Thomas grow, learn, and work toward opportunities like this has been such a joy. We couldn’t be prouder of him and all he has accomplished.

Congratulations, Thomas! We can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you!

We are so proud of Bhavani and Thomas as they begin this exciting new chapter!

After five wonderful years at Bradford, from 5th through 10th grade, Bhavani is now attending the highly rigorous and intensive North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) in Durham. This is the only residential High School in the state and it is an incredible accomplishment to receive this opportunity.

During his time at Bradford, Bhavani was involved in lacrosse, soccer, swimming, and wrestling, along with Mock Trial, NJHS, Student Government, Math Olympiad, and more. He served as Student Government Treasurer in 8th grade and was recently honored with the Best Attorney Award at this year’s Mock Trial Regional competition.

At NCSSM, Bhavani is excited to explore his interests in biology and neuroscience, while taking on new opportunities to learn, research, and grow.

He is incredibly grateful for the Bradford community, his teachers, friends, and all the memories he has made along the way. While he will certainly miss everyone at Bradford, he is excited for what’s ahead, meeting new people and making new memories.

Congratulations, Bhavani! We can’t wait to see all that this next chapter brings!
