The sisters were very patient with me through my struggles and openly shared their own experiences, many of which were similar to mine. They placed no judgment upon me, which gave me a sense of being in a judgment-free zone and reminded me that I was not alone in all that I had experienced throughout my journey.
SOS began to help me trust again and feel comfortable sharing past trauma so that I could break free from the past, stop isolating myself, and no longer hide from the mistakes I have made. It has also helped me grow into a better woman and mother and begin to recognize that I have value and so does my life.
We are better together because “iron sharpens iron.” I am honored and grateful to have been blessed with each and every sister in the group. Through every tear that was shed and every moment of laughter, our hearts were filled with gladness.
