What does an 800% increase in efficiency look like? It looks like the new Chickamauga Lock.
π’ποΈ The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District was honored to host Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, Tennessee District 3, and Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works) Adam Telle at the project site March 12, 2026. From the top of the new lock walls to the existing navigation chamber, these leaders saw firsthand the world-class engineering required to keep our inland waterways flowing.
