Our next Park Spark will take place on Sunday, June 28th from 2 - 6 pm at Southside Community Park! If you’ve never visited this park, there has never been a better time!

Our team with the Office of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy have an awesome afternoon planned- games, inflatables, food trucks, a photo booth, and even a mobile unit from the Health Department. As an added bonus, the first 50 kids will receive a free icee cup!

Join us on June 18th 5:30 - 7:30 as we cut the ribbon on the first of many new pavilions in our parks! This pavilion was completely designed and constructed in-house by our incredible team. Benham Williams Park is located at 430 Williams Drive.

Ever wonder how our city parks do double duty as "natural air conditioners" and flood protection?

Our Natural Resources Manager, Anna Mathis, was featured on the National Recreation and Park Association Guardians of Greenspaces Podcast to talk about how we are using nature to tackle extreme summer heat. By "daylighting" streams, taking them out of underground concrete pipes and bringing them back to the surface, our team is creating living ecosystems right in the neighborhoods that need them most.

Come dance with us at Latin Zumba tomorrow at 4:15! We will be dancing the afternoon away at the Chattanooga Fitness Center, located right beside the Chattanooga Zoo. This class is for those age 12 and up, and youth under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Hope to groove with you soon!
