✏Back to School Means Safety First!🎒

As our Chelsea Bulldogs head back to school, remember to slow down and stay alert in school zones. Always stop for school buses when their red lights are flashing and yield to pedestrians in crosswalks. A few extra seconds can make all the difference in keeping our students safe.

Don’t be like Chief Kazyak-play safe! We’re excited for The Holmes Family Park grand opening tomorrow and want everyone to have a great time. Remember to use the equipment as intended, supervise young children, and help keep the park clean and welcoming for everyone.

The City of Chelsea is experiencing a power outage on the South East side of town. The electric dept has been notified.

This pup was found running in traffic on I-94 near Pierce Rd. She is not microchipped. If this is your dog, please call 734-475-9122 Ext. 3 to claim her.

Update: The water main break has been fixed with no loss of pressure. There is no need to boil water, and you may go back to using your irrigation systems as needed.

There has been a water main break near Polly's. Crews have been on scene since early this morning working on the issue. There is currently no ETA for the repairs to be complete.

Residents on the South side of town may experience low water pressure today. There is also a possibility that residents may experience a brief water shutoff later in the day to complete the repairs.

Due to the water main break, residents are being asked to shut off their irrigation systems, and limit water usage as much as possible today.

At this point, there is no need to boil any water before using. If that changes, an update will be sent out.

Power Outage Update:

Crews have been working through the night after the massive storms that hit yesterday. Due to the extensive damage from the storms and complicated repairs that need to be done, the power for certain areas of the city is not expected to be back on until tomorrow.

We appreciate your patience as crews are working tirelessly to get the power restored as quickly as possible.
