Can you believe there are only two more Chelsea Walk to School Wednesdays? We can't! Join us tomorrow for our favorite weekly tradition. Beach Middle School and South Meadows walkers meet at the library. North Creek walkers meet at the north entrance of the Clocktower building. We depart at 7:30am!

Our reading theme this year is Unearth A Story, and we can't wait to see how many stories our readers and listeners unearth between our kickoff event on June 5 and the end of the program on July 22. We are just two weeks away from the kick off of the Summer Reading Program! In 2025, more than 1,400 participants read over 13,000 books and 7,800 hours! We can't wait to see what our readers and listeners accomplish this year. Join us on June 5 at 12pm on the library lawn for games, activities, and a celebration of the start of summer reading!

It's ! Anyone have memories of the 1976 log rolling competition? We found this gem in the Vern Otto collection of photos from Chelsea's bicentennial celebrations. Be sure to join us on June 26 from 5–7pm to see more memories from 1976 as we celebrate the nation's semiquincentennial and unearth Chelsea's 1976 time capsule.
