John Hancock College Prep High School John Hancock College Prep HS is a selective enrollment school in the Chicago Public Schools district. We serve students from grades 9-12 throughout the city.

We are located on the southwest side of Chicago, accessible by the Orange line and Pulaski/55th Street bus.

It serves to recognize their role in building the nation, challenge stereotypes, and highlight their ongoing influence in arts, business, and public service. At Hancock, we have served students whose lineage can be traced back to China, the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Pakistan, and many more.
