Special thank you to all the brave men and women that run to danger, risking their lives for the communities they work so hard to protect. Paid or Volunteer your dedication does not go unseen. Having the comfort of well trained responders gives the citizens a sense of security know that we will respond anytime. Thank you all again for your service, sacrifice, and dedication.

Chiefland Fire along with Chiefland Police Department and FHP are on scene of a crash at the intersection of NW 14th St and NW 11th Ave. The intersection is currently closed. Please use an alternate route while crews work to investigate the crash.

Chiefland Fire is still currently working with Levy County Department of Public Safety, Florida Forest Service - Waccasassa Forestry Center on the Cow Creek Fire. We have provided crew and a truck to assist with fire supression
