Bring a quilt this Saturday and enjoy a picnic at the Old Fashioned County Homecoming at Grayson Springs from 4-7pm cst. We still have pig roast plates and a few family photo sessions available to reserve, or you can byo picnic for free!

This Saturday, welcome your 2022 Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship winner back to Grayson County! Joel Whittinghill has won the KY state championship on fiddle, mandolin and guitar more than any other person. He'll be playing at the Old Fashioned County Homecoming at Grayson Springs alongside Adam French, Ricky Burch, and Anita Owens.

They'll be helping you celebrate Father's Day weekend at Grayson Springs Inn this Saturday, June 20, 2026. The event runs from 4-7pm cst, and features a PIG ROAST!

Toasty's Tavern Chef Matt Filip and family are roasting a hog and will sell plate dinners (with country sides by Mel’s Café). Reserve your plate on our website today! Guests are also welcome to bring a blanket and a picnic basket of their own.

We'll also have:
+ FAMILY PHOTOS! We’ve partnered with local photographer Chelsea Lashley for family photo sessions for just $15, LIMITED QUANTITY/RESERVE TODAY
+ HISTORY HIKE! Local historian Jason Yeager will lead the historical hike up to a Civil War dugout.
+ CIVIC LIFE! Samara Heavrin- 18th District State Representative will introduce the Grayson Springs Chapter of the Children of the American Revolution Society, who will perform a reenactment of the signing of the Declaration of Independence

Here’s what’s waiting for you at the event t this Saturday: �Live music from , A bluegrass band from the Owensboro Community & Technical College Bluegrass & Traditional Music Program, BBQ dinners for purchase from Bluegrass BBQ and Square dancing led by Greer Hannan who has a gift for making even first-timers feel right at home. If you can walk, you can dance—and she’ll prove it.
