The members of Wax Fire & Rescue extend our deepest condolences to the Elizabethtown Fire Department, three of our own firefighters, the Druen family, and all those affected by the passing of Firefighter Ryan Druen.

Firefighter Druen's dedication, service, and commitment to his community will not be forgotten. During this difficult time, we stand with our brothers and sisters in the fire service as they mourn the loss of one of their own.

Please keep the Druen family, the members of the Elizabethtown Fire Department, and all who knew and loved Ryan in your thoughts and prayers.

Rest easy, Firefighter Druen. We have the watch from here. 🚒🖤

As Memorial Day weekend comes to a close, Wax Fire and Rescue hopes everyone had a safe, enjoyable, and meaningful weekend with family and friends.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice has provided the freedoms we enjoy every day, and we are forever grateful for their courage and dedication.

While Memorial Day is often spent gathering with loved ones, grilling out, and enjoying the holiday weekend, it is also a time to reflect on the true meaning of the day and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

From all of us at Wax Fire and Rescue, thank you to all military families and veterans. We ask everyone to take a moment today to honor our fallen heroes. 🇺🇸
