Frederick Douglass High School empowers students aged 15-21 who struggled in traditional settings.

We offer flexible hours, individualized plans, and dedicated teacher support, allowing every student to learn at their own pace and achieve graduation.

From the classroom to the culinary world—our alumni are COOKING up success! 🍽️👏
🎓 Frederick Douglass High School graduate Yavi Malpica recently participated in a two-day American Culinary Federation Boucherie: Farm-to-Table Pork Fabrication & Cooking event!
Yavi had the incredible opportunity to sharpen culinary skills, network with professional chefs, and gain hands-on industry experience. ( He got to hang out with Chef Diaz)🔪🔥
🏆 The cherry on top? Yavi was recognized for going ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty; he is currently working at Cordelia! 🌟We're beyond proud to see our FDHS alumni making connections, gaining experience, and leaving their mark in the culinary world!
