🚀☀️ Summer is officially underway at Esperanza's STEAM Summer Camp!

Over the next six weeks, students will explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through hands-on activities, exciting field experiences, and opportunities to learn, create, and grow alongside their peers.

Programs like our STEAM Camp help students build critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills that prepare them for success in school, college, and future careers.

🎓💻 Congratulations to the graduates of our Evening Intermediate Computer Skills Course!

Esperanza celebrated another group of dedicated adult learners as they completed our 8-week evening computer course. Designed to build practical digital skills for everyday life and today's workforce, the program covered essential topics including professional email communication, virtual calendars, videoconferencing platforms, and the fundamentals of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

In an increasingly digital world, these skills are critical for career advancement, workplace success, and access to new opportunities. By strengthening their digital literacy, our graduates are investing in their futures and expanding the tools they need to thrive both professionally and personally.

Balancing work, family, and other responsibilities while continuing their education is no small feat, and we are incredibly proud of each participant's commitment to learning and growth. 👏

☀️📚 Summer learning is officially underway! 🎉

After a successful staff orientation, this week marks the beginning of the CMSD Summer Learning Experience at Natividad Pagán International Newcomers Academy! 🙌✨

Throughout the summer, Esperanza is proud to partner with Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) to provide engaging learning opportunities for students in grades K–3. 🌟

From Monday through Friday, our campers will enjoy exciting activities led by 9 amazing community partners, exploring STEM 🔬, literacy 📖, arts 🎨, recreation ⚽, and other enrichment experiences designed to keep learning fun all summer long!

This program is just one of many summer opportunities offered through Esperanza’s Youth Leadership Program, helping young learners build confidence, discover new interests, and continue growing both inside and outside the classroom. 🌱✨

Esperanza celebrated the successful conclusion of another Padres Comprometidos cohort, an UnidosUS parent engagement and leadership program designed to help families become stronger advocates for their children's education and future success.

A special thank you to our Volunteer Coordinator, Kelvin Matos, for his dedication throughout the program, our partner Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Ctr, and to every participant who committed their time and energy to creating a brighter future for their families.

Thank you to the Dollar General Literacy Foundation for awarding Esperanza a 2026 Adult Literacy Grant!

This investment will help create even greater impact through Esperanza's Adult Learners Program, supporting adults across Northeast Ohio as they build English language skills, strengthen digital literacy, prepare for workforce opportunities, and pursue educational goals that lead to brighter futures.
