When school's out, the wildest adventures are waiting at the Zoo! New in 2026, School’s Out Safari promises a full day of fun on Friday, October 9 and Monday, October 12 for children ages 5-13. This program includes a walking tour of parts of the Zoo, a Get-Close encounter with a small animal, and conservation-themed games and activities. A half-day option is also available.

Someone's moving back in! Shayna, our dwarf crocodile, is returning to her newly upgraded habitat in Primate Forest. Recent enhancements include a new climbing structure, an improved basking area, and a shallow water shelf. These thoughtful upgrades are designed to encourage natural behaviors and exploration while providing an even better viewing experience for guests.
