This morning Clinton FF/EMT’s assisted by Sterling, MA Fire Department paramedics delivered a healthy baby girl!

Mother and our newest resident were transported to an area hospital and are both doing well!

Great job by the on duty crew! We wish all the best to the family in enjoying their extra special holiday gift!

Early this morning at around 2am, a motor vehicle struck a telephone pole in the vicinity of the town line in Berlin. Units from Clinton Fire and Police, as well as Berlin Fire and Police, were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured. Police took the driver of the vehicle into custody. The area is presently without power, and the road is closed. National Grid has been informed and will be sending a team to address the issue.

Anything with a lithium-ion battery-phones, laptops, e-bikes, power tools —can become a fire hazard if it’s not charged safely. Always use the charger that came with the device or one approved by the manufacturer. If the cord only works when you bend it just right, it’s time to replace it.
