It was a full day at the library! Our guest readers did a great job reading to 38 kiddos this morning! Thanks Kendall and Declan! Lots of activity with toys and coloring wooden dinosaur shapes after the story. In the afternoon the 9-12 year olds made beautiful paint pour pots that they will plant succulents(from Elk Creek Gardens) in next week. Shout out to the wonderful summer helpers and library friends for helping with the Plant a Dino Program!

Join us Tuesday, June 16th at 10am at the library! At a Share a Story Program, a story is read, a show related to the story is watched, and a craft is made. Each child in attendance also receives a free book!

What a great start to this year's Summer Reading Program! Thank you to the K-State Extension and 4H for putting on such a fun and interactive program! We had 58 children participate in making a salt dough fossil, excavating a dinosaur, making a dino snack, and learning the different kinds of dinosaurs and bones. Thanks to all the caregivers for all their help at the different stations!

The library will be closed on Tuesdays during Summer Reading for our children's programs. The program runs until July 19th.
