Summer has officially begun, and that means our Summer Feed & Read Program is underway! ☀️📚

Over the coming weeks, more than 2,000 children across Brevard County will receive not only nutritious weekend food packages, but also a brand-new book each week to keep their minds growing all summer long.

A special thank you to our partners at United Way Space Coast and to every volunteer who helps make this program possible. Together, we're feeding bodies, fueling minds, and creating brighter summers for local children.

Summer Feed & Read is officially underway!

This week, children across Brevard County received their first weekend food package and a brand-new book through our Summer Feed & Read Program.

While school may be out, hunger doesn't take a summer vacation. Thanks to our partnership with United Way Space Coast, we're helping children stay nourished and keep reading this summer.

Instead of spending his birthday money on himself, Colton chose to go shopping for food items to donate to The Children’s Hunger Project. His generosity and caring heart will help provide meals to local children facing food insecurity right here in our community.

We were honored to welcome the Health First leaders to The Children’s Hunger Project! During their visit, they learned about our mission to fight childhood hunger in Brevard County, saw firsthand how our program works, and rolled up their sleeves to help pack food for local children facing food insecurity.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about the challenges many children in our community face and for helping us make a difference. Your support, teamwork, and willingness to serve will help ensure that children have nutritious food to get them through the weekend.
