Calling all book lovers and fans of the supernatural! Meet Colorado author Mariko Turk for a conversation featuring her book, I'll Be Waiting For You, a 2026 All Pikes Peak Reads selection for young adults. Turk's book features a young girl who is working on a film about a haunted hotel — and as she works, she begins to wonder if the rumors might actually be true. She'll sign books and Poor Richard's Bookstore will have copies for sale. For more information, and to register, go to ppld.org/APPR.

If you are interested in more spooky Colorado stories, join us for Creepy Colorado Cinema at 6 p.m. on Oct. 1 at East Library with filmmaker and Horror Film Festival co-founder Leon Kelly.
