Ohio History Connection We're a private nonprofit history organization with a mission to spark discovery of Ohio stories.

We're the state's partner in preserving and sharing Ohio's history, archaeology, natural history and historic places.

• We manage more than 50 historic sites and museums across the state that you can visit, including the Ohio History Center.

• We preserve the state’s collections and archives for you and all Ohioans.

• We administer the state historic preservation office that helps preserve hist

Join the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society, Great Lakes Chapter, for an afternoon of tabletop miniatures gaming at the Ohio History Center! September’s game is the Battle of Lake Erie, Sept. 10, 1813. Refight this pivotal naval action in the War of 1812 fought off the coast of Put-In-Bay, OH. The U.S. Navy, commanded by Oliver Hazard Perry, captured six vessels of the British Navy. The victory assured American control of Lake Erie for the rest of the war.

Included with museum admission.
