May is Military Appreciation Month, a time to honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country with courage and dedication.

Here in Lorain County, we are proud of the veterans, active-duty service members, and military families who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms. I had the opportunity to attend the Marion L. Steel High School armed forces signing day Amherst Exempted Village Schools. It was so inspiring to see these young people make the choice to serve our country.

Thank you to all who have served, are currently serving, and to the families who stand beside them through every sacrifice. Your dedication, courage, and commitment to our country will never be forgotten.
