At OhioHealth, we live our values through service. Earlier this week, our senior leaders spent the afternoon at Flying Horse Farms which provides a medically safe camp experience for children with serious illnesses. They helped prepare Flying Horse Farms for the next camp session by cleaning cabins for campers, assembling camper name tags, and helping winterize the pool deck. It was a day of volunteering, teamwork and our mission in action.

Culture is more than what we say. It’s how we show up for each other, our patients and the communities we serve.

That’s why we are bringing the Culture DNA Live Experience to associates at OhioHealth care sites. This hands-on opportunity gives our teams time to learn, connect and reflect on what it means to live our culture every day.

By strengthening our culture, we strengthen how we deliver on our mission: improving the health of patients and communities through compassionate, high-quality care.

Because when we climb higher together, our culture helps guide the way. 💙

Chris Barlow, MD, shares a few essentials students should keep on hand, from basic medications and wound care supplies to a thermometer, cold pack and other items your student may not think about until they need them.

🩹 They may not need it often, but when they do, you both will be glad it’s there.

This summer, OhioHealth associates have taken our mission beyond the walls of our care sites and into the communities we’re honored to serve.

From lending a helping hand at local organizations and food pantries to supporting community events, cleaning up neighborhoods and giving back across Ohio, teams are coming together to make a difference in the places we call home.

Thank you to all of our associates for giving your time, energy and heart to serve others. We’re proud of the many ways you bring the OhioHealth mission to life — both inside our care sites and out in the community.
