Colusa County Appoints Jeannie Armstrong as Director of Behavioral Health Services

COLUSA, CA (October 26, 2026) — The Colusa County Board of Supervisors is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeannie Armstrong as the County’s next Director of Behavioral Health Services.

The decision comes after a competitive recruitment process that attracted several highly qualified candidates. Following a comprehensive evaluation and interview process, the Board selected Armstrong to lead the department, citing her exceptional background and dedication to public service.

COLUSA COUNTY TASK FORCE PARTICIPATES IN
OPERATION CENTRAL VALLEY BLUES

Multi-Agency Counter-Narcotics Operation Disrupts Criminal Trafficking on Key Corridors

COLUSA COUNTY, Calif. – From 0700 hours on October 5, 2026, to 0000 hours on October 8, 2026, the Colusa County Task Force (CCTF), in conjunction with the California Highway Patrol (Northern Division K9), the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Colusa Police Department, the Colusa Probation Department, and the Colusa County Sheriff’s Office, conducted continuous 24-hour counter-narcotic enforcement operations throughout Colusa County as part of Operation Central Valley Blues.

During this operational window, CCTF agents and assigned personnel executed five residential search warrants within a 36-hour period. These warrants resulted in the seizure of a stolen fi***rm, the seizure of evidence related to drug trafficking, and the arrest/booking of individuals subject to various felony arrest warrants.

In addition, CCTF agents and assigned personnel averaged in excess of 40 traffic enforcement stops during each 12-hour shift. These stops resulted in multiple arrests, including known criminal street gang members, the seizure of an illegal fi***rm along with narcotics, and the recovery of a stolen vehicle.

In the broader context of the operation, Colusa County law enforcement personnel played a significant role in disrupting the flow of all elements of criminal trafficking on Interstate 5, Highway 20, and other main supply lines in the Northern California area of operations.

The success of Operation Central Valley Blues is the direct result of the outstanding effort, coordination, and dedication displayed by all the organizations and personnel involved. The Colusa County Task Force remains committed to safeguarding the community through targeted enforcement against narcotics trafficking, illegal fi***rms, and associated criminal activity.
