Last week Mill Brook School unveiled their "Ocean Transformation." Thanks to generous donations, the library has been transformed into an ocean. Students entered the library while "Under the Sea" played and bubbles floated through the air. The ocean theme will be integrated across the curriculum over the next few weeks.

What’s in a name?

It tells a story about who we are and what we honor.

As we plan for a new building designed to support today’s learners and to educate them for lifelong success, we are asking the community to share name ideas that reflect our values, history and sense of place – rooted in Concord’s unique role as the capital, our tradition of civic engagement, and the people and places that have shaped our community.

Following district policy #735, the superintendent will recommend names to the Board of Education with the supporting reasons. There will be an opportunity to provide feedback to the Board before a decision is made.

Submit a proposed name and explain why you believe it is the right name for our new middle school.

Submissions are accepted through February 20.
