❤️ Thank you to our partners at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for capturing and sharing this powerful story.
It's a reminder that great outcomes are rarely the result of one person or one agency—they often happen when community members and first responders work together.
In this case, a passerby stopped to help, deputies immediately began lifesaving care and administered Narcan, and our Elk Creek Fire crews continued treatment upon arrival. Every action, every decision, and every second mattered.
Most importantly, we're grateful this patient was given another chance.
Thank you to the citizen who refused to drive by, to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office deputies, and to our Elk Creek Fire responders for working together to make a difference.
You never know when YOU'LL be the person who makes the difference. Learning CPR, recognizing an emergency, and calling 911 quickly can help save a life. ❤️
