The ALA has some incredible Online Training available, providing all members with the tools they need to help grow the organization as a team. The Academy courses are designed to help members learn online and at no cost to them.
There are self-paced courses, as well as webinars:
* Registration is required for the webinars, but if it doesn't fit into your schedule, they're recorded and you can watch as time permits.
* Self-paced courses you can take from any device. These are designed for you to take whenever you have time with no need to pre-register.

This course defines leadership as a mission mindset and explains core competencies of effective ALA leaders. Gives an overview of how to develop your own personal leadership proficiencies.
