Fallen Hero's Dream Ride Our mission is to educate the public on military sacrifices. Fallen Hero's Dream Ride was formed after the death of LCpl Phillip Vinnedge.

Through our Dream Riders program, we bring the children of fallen heroes together to celebrate their loved ones' memories in a fun, healing environment. Phillip was killed in action while serving in Afghanistan. He was a member of the Weapons Company of the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, and was killed in action on October 13th, 2010. Our “Dream Riders” program's purpose is to bring together

the children of our Fallen Military Heroes to celebrate the memories of their loved ones by offering companionship, healing and camaraderie. Tragically, these children and siblings have endured more pain and heartache than any child should ever have to. We give these children and siblings of our fallen military the opportunity to connect with others that have experienced the same loss that they have. We provide these kids with fun filled experiences, allowing them to relax, and make life long bonds with others. "Because They Deserve Happy Memories". Our Memorial 1951 Chevy pickup travels to build awareness of the sacrifices our fallen military men & women have made. This type vehicle was chosen due to Phillip's love of classic Chevy trucks.

🇺🇸 EVENT UPDATE: Rain or Shine! 🇺🇸

We are getting so excited to honor Ella Mateja with the LCpl Phillip Vinnedge Young Patriot Award on Monday, June 8th!

Just a quick reminder that this is an outdoor event held at the Mid America Veterans Museum, and we will be moving forward rain or shine. While we have some canopy cover, please check the local forecast before heading out and come prepared (an umbrella or poncho is never a bad idea!).

🏛️ Exclusive Update: The museum is opening its doors specifically for our guests to view the exhibits during the event, even though it is outside of their normal operating hours! Come early to look around, grab some lemonade, and help us celebrate.
