Yesterday was absolute magic! Because of your incredible support at this year’s Book Fair, **every single student** got to pick out a brand-new book to take home and keep for summer reading! 🏖️📖

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who shopped the fair—you made this possible! And a huge shoutout to our amazing literacy coach, Mrs. Roberts, for turning those sales into summer smiles. Seeing the kids' excitement as they chose their books was the absolute best part of our week.

Last week we rounded out the school year with our last weekly Rue Rockstars! We have loved recognizing so many students for their hard work in and out of the classroom!

Our first Rue Rockstar goes to Hollyn C! Her nominator wrote: "Hollyn responsibly and respectfully does her work every day." Way to go, Hollyn!!

Our second Rue Rockstar goes to Dexter J! His nominator wrote: "Dexter helps make sure all students feel included and welcome." Keep it up, Dexter!!

Our third Rue Rockstar goes to Lilalue M! Her nominator wrote: "Lilalue is always kind to everyone and makes sure no one gets left out." Great work, Lilialue!

🌟 **Yesterday was the day for one of Rue’s most beloved traditions: the Rue Talent Show!** 🌟

We are incredibly proud of all our students who stepped onto the stage and shared their amazing talents with us yesterday. It was so much fun watching them shine! 🎤✨

As is tradition, our teachers closed out the show with a funny dance routine featuring some fun props—and a surprise confetti-popper ending to kick off a whole-school dance party! 🎉💃🕺

Next week is a week full of FUN! Below are a few upcoming events that families may attend if they wish!

Please note a couple things:
-Field Day: All spectators will need to stay on the outside of the fence. We also ask that you make sure students wear comfortable clothing that is able to get wet. Please send a change of clothes with your student that day, including shoes, as there are water activities.

-Attendance & Rue Rockstar Awards: If your child is receiving an award, you will be notified ahead of time!
