Hey Titan fans! If you're heading out to support our JV (5:00) and Varsity (7:00) softball teams tonight, please note that the games will be played at Lewis Central (not IWCC). Due to ongoing construction, there are a few important logistical changes for tonight's games:

Tickets: Please note that card readers will not be available at the gate. All tickets must be pre-purchased online through Bound.

Parking & Entry: Everyone must park in the high school parking lot and enter the facility through the baseball gate.

Concessions: Unfortunately, concessions will not be available tonight, so please bring your own cooler.

A huge congratulations to 2nd grader Clara Riebe, creator of the Road Trip Roll, for taking home second place at the National Invention Convention!

Road Trip Roll is a brilliant, dice-based travel game where players earn points by spotting objects outside the car that match rolled colors and letters. It’s the perfect, screen-free road trip activity we all need!

Way to go, Clara! We can't wait to see what you create in 3rd grade.

We are proud to recognize our SkillsUSA students for their outstanding performance at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference!

Laila Cozad Villegas: Architectural Drafting - 28th out of 42
Dominic Vermule: Electronics Technology - 10th out of 22
Carson Arnold, Derick Call, Luella Fahrenkrug: Engineering Technology-Design - 25th out of 25
Marcelo Montenegro: Heating, Ventilation, AC and Refrigeration - 31st out of 33

In addition to competing, several students took advantage of the opportunity to earn free Industry Recognized Certifications (IRCs) from Autodesk by successfully completing certification exams, including Luella Fahrenkrug, Derick Call, Laila Cozad Villegas, and Dominic Vermule.

We would also like to recognize Evelyn Duitsman, who attended the conference as an Iowa SkillsUSA State Officer and served as a voting delegate.

Our teachers are already hard at work learning and planning for the upcoming school year! This group explored the invention process, focusing on how to seamlessly integrate it into Science and Social Studies standards. To best understand the student experience, they replicated the exact process their classes would follow: brainstorming ideas, building prototypes, and presenting their creations to peers.
