The first high school football game in over 75 years will be played at Forsyth High School this evening. The game time has been moved from 6:00 to 7:00 because of the extremely hot weather. Please come out and support your Pirates!!! They have been working really hard.

We only had a week of school in August, but that doesn't mean we don't have students who stepped up and started off the school year with a positive attitude and motivation worthy of recognition! Congratulations to our August Students of the Month in the Jr High and High School: Senior Ellie and 8th Grader A.J.. About Ellie, the nominating teacher shared: Ellie has kicked off the year by taking a commanding role in student council and has done a terrific job with organizing and planning our fundraising, upcoming meetings and decor already. On top of this, she is a kind hearted and hardworking young lady and student. About A.J., the nominating teacher shared: She demonstrated kindness by helping a new peer find her way around school on the first day.
It was a good first week! Thank you to all of our students for a great start!
