HARRASSMENT
On Friday, August 28, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Jenny Trapp. The summons was issued after multiple harassment complaints were reported and an application for charges was submitted. Trapp was located, served with the summons, and released pending her trial.
ARRESTED: Jenny Lynette Trapp, 45, Cumberland, MD.
CHARGES: Trespassing Private Property, Harassment.
THEFT
On Friday, August 28, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Anthony Talbert. The summons was issued after Talbert was observed taking a bicycle from a public park.
An application for charges was submitted, which yielded a summons. Talbert was located, served with the summons, and released pending his trial.
ARRESTED: Anthony Clayton Talbert Sr., 45, Cumberland, MD.
CHARGE: Theft Less than $1,500.
ASSAULT
On Friday, August 28, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 400 Block of Virginia Avenue for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim, who advised he was in an argument with Lillian Wagner that had turned physical. Officers were able to observe injuries on the victim's person. They then traveled to the residence where the assault had occurred in the 400 block of Grand Avenue to search for Wagner, with negative results. An application for charges was completed, which yielded the summons. Wagner was located, served with the summons, and released pending her trial.
ARRESTED: Lillian Amzy Wagner, 33, Cumberland, MD.
CHARGE: Assault Second Degree.
FAILURE TO APPEAR/VIOLATION OF PROBATION
On Friday, August 28, 2026, Cumberland Police Department officers were on patrol in the area of Bridge Street when they observed Ivan Valentin, who had an active arrest warrant. The warrant was issued after Valentin failed to appear in court in a littering case. A search of his person incident to arrest yielded controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. An additional warrant through Mineral County, West Virginia, was located for Valentin. He was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center pending extradition.
ARRESTED: Ivan Candelaria Valentin, 40, Cumberland, MD.
CHARGES: Failure to Appear (Littering), CDS Paraphernalia Possession, Violation of Probation (Fugitive, West Virginia).
FAILURE TO APPEAR
On Friday, August 28, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served two bench warrants on Charlena Rodriguez. The warrants were issued as a result of Rodriguez's failure to appear in court on August 5, 2026, in separate cases involving theft and paraphernalia possession. Rodriguez was taken before a district court commissioner, where she was released on a $500 unsecured bond pending her trial.
ARRESTED: Charlena Marie Rodriguez, 19, Cumberland, MD.
CHARGES: Failure to Appear (CDS Paraphernalia Possession, Theft less than $100).
