Parade Weekend
Last evening members were in Garrett County for the 48th annual Grantsville Days Parade, bringing home the award for “oldest operating motorized fire truck” with our 1989 Pierce Lance Engine 9-1.
Today members took both Engine 9-1 and Engine-Tanker 9-3 to the City of Cumberlands America 250th parade.
Our younger members have taken much pride in our equipment and we’re happy to see their hard work pay off.

Congratulations to our newest fire fighter Crayton Cessna. After months of classes he has successfully completed the fire fighter 1 course and is able to better serve our community as an interior fire fighter.
Last evening Chief Coleman presented Crayton his coat tag and helmet shield, identifying him as a trained fire fighter with Cresaptown VFD.
