Congratulations to our newest fire fighter Crayton Cessna. After months of classes he has successfully completed the fire fighter 1 course and is able to better serve our community as an interior fire fighter.
Last evening Chief Coleman presented Crayton his coat tag and helmet shield, identifying him as a trained fire fighter with Cresaptown VFD.

Yesterday Cresaptown VFD sent an Engine crew to provide fill in coverage for PGFD so that their members could attend the funeral of Firefighter / Paramedic Lloyd who died in the line of duty.
The crew of four was assigned to the Chapel Oaks station for the day. Pictured is the crew: Lt J. Norris, Engineer L. Miller, Firefighter CP Robinson, and Firefighter / EMT J. Earnest.
While they were away crews were at hand back home to handle emergencies.
We’re glad we were able to assist in such a difficult day for the PGFD.

We wish all of our EMS providers a happy EMS week. As we close out the week and get into our weekend standby at DelFest we are reminded of the importance of our volunteers and County Staffing in keeping our communities safe!

Off for a facelift. 🚑
Our 2012 Ford F450 Ambulance 399 is heading to Carolina Remounts in North Carolina where they will take the patient box and place it on a new truck chassis. This will extend its service life for our community.

Members have been busy this week. At the time of writing, Cresaptown VFD has received 30 calls for service since Monday with 11 being fire responses. While that is not unusual, a large amount of our time has been spent outside of Cresaptown.
