πŸ₯‚ Thank you for all our attendees who made our Summer Happy Hour on Thursday everything we hoped for β€” a packed house, easy conversation, and the kind of connections that make this Chamber what it is.

A huge thank-you to Flex Etc β€” and especially Ariel Herr β€” for hosting us in their beautiful co-warehousing space. If you haven't seen it yet, it's unlike anything else in Plano. This was the second time FlexEtc so graciously hosted us, and we love the space and their hospitality!

To our sponsor, Shalini Kodial CPA PLLC β€” thank you for making the night possible. To Priya's Spize Works, thank you for the specialty dessert cart that kept everyone coming back for seconds. And to Rajula's Kitchen β€” those Indian snacks were the talk of the evening!

We were also honored to welcome Plano Council Member Bob Kehr, and Addison Council Member Schnell Blanton. Thank you for spending your evening with us.

Starla Triggs from Metrocrest Chamber - it was so nice seeing you again!

And to all our attendees - thank you so much - and we hope to see you all again on Sep 10 for our next Happy Hour at Ewing Mercedes!

What does courage look like up close? Our interns found out. πŸŽ–οΈ

Our US India Chamber Foundation Interns spent the day at the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington β€” β€” walking through the stories of America's most extraordinary heroes, our nation's Medal of Honor recipients β€” one act of courage at a time.

This is what the Honoring Our Veterans internship is all about: not just learning history, but standing where it lives. As part of America's 250th Anniversary, these students are dedicating their summer to honoring the veterans who made it possible.

Thank you to the National Medal of Honor Museum for an unforgettable visit.

Thank you to our board members who accompanied our young leaders on this visit: Neel Gonuguntla, Dr Dinesh Bhatia, and Andy Kumaar.

"The health industry has seen so many twists and turns over the last few years β€” and the focus it demands requires this kind of platform: for leaders from healthcare, for practitioners, and for people making decisions that impact millions and millions of lives." β€” Gaurav Shekhar, Executive Board Member, US India Chamber and Associate Dean, The University of Texas at Dallas

Five years ago, HealthCon started with one question: What's good for the health of our community β€” and our country?

What began as a single gathering β€” one that drew the U.S. Surgeon General β€” has become an annual tradition: a place where physicians, healthcare executives, and entrepreneurs come together to make care easier to access, more affordable to receive, and smarter through innovation.

πŸŽ₯ And no one makes a better case for its importance than Gaurav - when we caught up with him at HealthCon 2025 - on why this matters so much.
