🪇 Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! 🪅
Yesterday marked the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month, a special time to celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, history, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. We are excited to celebrate together on September 25 with Leamos Juntos from 8:15-9:15 and a trip through Latin Americans countries from 4:30–6:00 PM. Please don’t forget to support our amazing teachers by purchasing an item from their Amazon Wish List to help them prepare their country tables for our celebration. Hoy comienza el Mes de la Herencia Hispana, una celebración especial para reconocer las ricas culturas, tradiciones, historia y contribuciones de las comunidades hispanas y latinas. Estamos muy emocionados de celebrar juntos el 25 de septiembre con Leamos Juntos de 8:15 a 9:15 y un viaje por países latinoamericanos de 4:30 a 6:00. Good afternoon, Peabody families!

Just a reminder to please review the Arrival and Dismissal Flyers for important information regarding morning and afternoon procedures. Please pay especially close attention to the procedures.

We have noticed that some parents are still entering the staff parking lot during arrival. Students who are being dropped off should use the carpool line and walk to the student entry door.

If you would like to walk your student to the student entry door, please park across the street in the parent parking lot. Please do not park in the staff parking lot.

We have also noticed that some vehicles are skipping the carpool line. We kindly ask that everyone be patient and respect the line that has been established. Following the procedures helps keep arrival and dismissal safe and organized for everyone.

Finally, please make sure you bring the correct dismissal tag each day. Dismissal tags cannot be reused from year to year. Using an outdated tag can cause confusion in our dismissal system and create a serious safety concern.

Good morning, parents and guardians!
It’s Friday, and we have officially completed our second week of school! We hope everyone is having a great start to the school year.
A few friendly reminders:
👕 Uniform Assistance: On Wednesday, we sent home our weekly flyers. Please don’t forget to complete the Uniform Assistance Form, families who qualify may receive one free school uniform.
🙋‍♀️ VOLY: Don’t forget to complete your VOLY volunteer application. Once you are approved, you will be able to volunteer at school, attend field trips, help with school events, and much more!
👨Calling All Dads! Please consider joining our Dads Club, led by our wonderful dad leaders Mr. Carrillo, Mr. Hernandez, and Mr. Amaya. We would love to have more dads get involved and help us make a positive impact on our students and school community!

👕 Asistencia con Uniformes: El miércoles enviamos nuestros volantes semanales a casa. No olviden completar el Formulario de Asistencia con Uniformes si su familia necesita apoyo. Las familias que califiquen podrán recibir un uniforme escolar gratis.
🙋‍♀️ VOLY: No olviden completar su solicitud de voluntariado en VOLY. Una vez que sean aprobados, podrán ser voluntarios en la escuela, acompañarnos en excursiones, ayudar en eventos escolares, y mucho más!

We are so excited to welcome our students back on Tuesday, August 11, for the first day of school! We can’t wait to see all of our smiling Chargers back on campus! 💜🐎

If you were unable to attend Meet the Teacher Night, that is okay! You are welcome to drop off your child’s school supplies at our student entry door, and our wonderful TAs will be happy to assist with getting the supplies to your child’s classroom.

Also, if you were unable to call the school today or let your child’s teacher know during Meet the Teacher Night how your child will be getting home, please make sure to contact your child’s teacher on Dojo or call the school in the morning to provide us with their dismissal information. This will help us make sure every student gets to the correct dismissal area safely.

⏰ Our doors will open for students at 7:30 a.m.

We are looking forward to a wonderful first day of school and seeing all of our Chargers! Thank you for helping us get the school year off to a great start.

Charger family!

We hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer. We are four days away from welcoming our students back for the 2026–2027 school year on August 11, 2026, and we can't wait to see everyone!

This is a friendly reminder that all students must be enrolled for the 2026–2027 school year.
Meet the Teacher Night will be held on Thursday, August 6, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

While you're here:
• You will get to meet your child’s teacher, see your child's classroom, and drop off school supplies.
- Our wonderful PTO has once again done an amazing job of getting barbers to volunteer to give haircuts on meet the teacher night, you don’t want to miss it!
• Levine's will be on campus to answer questions about school uniforms.
• Martin Weiss will be available to provide information and register students for the 2026–2027 after-school program.
• NEHS will be sponsoring Kona Ice sales.
• Our amazing PTO will be on campus to welcome families, sign up PTO members, and sell snacks.
