April 20–26 is a time to honor the incredible power of volunteers—and we’re celebrating our very own DARCC Volunteers!

In 2024 alone, DARCC volunteers gave 18,067 hours of their time to support survivors through our 24-hour hotline, hospital accompaniments, and legal advocacy.

Yesterday, the City of Dallas officially proclaimed April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. We were honored to attend the proclamation at City Hall and stand alongside community leaders and advocates in raising awareness and showing support for survivors.

Every 2 in 5 women and 1 in 5 men are impacted by sexual assault in Texas; this issue extends beyond council districts, incomes, and cultures. Join us as we stand with survivors and work toward our vision of a world free from sexual violence.
