What We Do - Western Care Partners guides families of aging loved ones through the plethora of resources available to them. There are a number of issues that come up when families realized their loved one needs more help than they can provide. We provide individualized navigation an

d emotional guidance so that families can make their best decisions for an aging loved one. We want to do the best thing but it's hard to know where to start. Traditionally, case managers focus on services, and counselors deal with emotions but at Western Care Partners, we believe you make the best decisions when you have both. Western Care Partners helps families navigate the tasks and emotions that come with helping an aging loved one.

It's Juneteenth and I am working. It is a tremendous privilege for me to be trusted by those who are not white. I do not take this lightly. In grad school, I wrote a paper on the role of race in the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, specifically the lack of attention to African American older adults. Facebook is being weird and won't let me upload it...but I still believe we need more advocacy, kindness and understanding for older adults of color.
