Round 2 just opened through Denver Public Schools! We have limited elementary openings in 2-5th grades and now is the time to join our waitlist for kindergarten and 1st grades! We also have full time and part time openings in toddlers in our First Steps program. We have tours available including next Saturday, March 21st option next week! The Saturday tour is for infants through 5th grades.

The Far Northeast will now have access to a quality Montessori middle school dual language program for students and families to choose from!

🎉 Big news, Monarch Community and Families! 🎉

Last night, Monarch entered a new phase in our history. The Denver Public Schools Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve Monarch’s expansion through 8th grade!

What this means
• In Fall 2027, Monarch will welcome our first 6th grade class, as we complete required district milestones by Fall 2026. Sixth grade is the capstone year of the Montessori Elementary program, completing the full three year Upper Elementary cycle and allowing our oldest students to step fully into leadership.
• Construction will begin on our campus to create a small, community based Montessori Middle School, with a bilingual option, with 7th grade launching in Fall 2028.
• 8th grade will launch in Fall 2029, culminating in our first expedition with students to travel and learn in their capstone trip outside of Colorado (location TBD!)

This is an exciting milestone for our students, families, and community. More details are coming soon, including info sessions and opportunities to participate in the design and planning process. Stay tuned! 💛🦋
