Today was a great day for Mr. Haynes! He won both the Principal for an Hour and SRO for an Hour at the annual carnival. Mr. Haynes began his day by checking his email and doing a morning teacher check in to see if they needed anything. Most asked for naps, M&M and for the printers to work. On one of the walks he gave two detentions (one to his brother)! He also made a list of playground summer projects to be submitted to central office. Then, he changed hats and became SOR Haynes where he did his daily door checks. On his rounds he spotted a couple shady characters! He had to arrest one and place her in a holding cell! He later released her for good behavior. All in all, we believe he most defintely has a future in a school!

Another wonderful NM school lunch! Ask your kiddos what the name of this lunch is called at the elementary! 😉

Nothing warms up a chilly day quite like our kitchen’s legendary chicken and noodles with mashed potatoes! Today’s lunch also included green beans, coleslaw, a dinner roll, fruit, and milk — a warm and nutritious meal for our Warriors.

We are so thankful for our amazing school kitchen staff who work hard every single day to prepare meals that keep our students fueled, cared for, and ready to learn. Thank you for all you do for our Warriors!

Don’t forget: Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 13th is Second and Third Grade’s Fine Arts Event. Afternoon show begins at 1:00 PM (doors open at 12:45) and the evening show begins at 6:00 PM (doors open at 5:30). Art Gallery will be open during both events. Students should come dressed for the show when they arrive at school tomorrow. If students are bringing an OPTIONAL prop for our final number, they may drop off with Mrs. Campbell in the cafeteria before announcements.
