Shew! Dover, you guys really showed up last night! I know ALL of our officers and vendors had a blast! This event was nothing shy of the community coming together and representing! We hope you all enjoyed the school supplies, the food, the board games, the basketball/football games, the axe throwing, the balloon art, the blood pressure checks, the popsicles, the books, and most importantly a fun time bonding with the community!

So thank you very much for preparing all of our food at not only yesterday’s event but our other events this summer.

Today is the day ! Come out to our Back to School Board Game Night at the Dover Police Department from 5-7pm while supplies last! You won’t want to miss this event ! We will have numerous vendors and activities for kids and even our adults !

Free food/ drinks
Free ice cream/ ice pops
Free books
Free school supplies
Free balloon art
A chance to play numerous interactive games with our officers

Come on out to Dover Police Department on Tuesday 8/25/26 for our back to school night! We have MANY vendors and partners that will be in attendance as well!!

The Dover Police Athletic League wants to recognize all of those that were affected from the EF-1 tornado that took place in Dover, Delaware on Thursday. We hope all of those that are affected from this are safe and in the right place for the care they need.

Specifically, the Dover Police Athletic League would like to recognize the Dover Little League and extend our condolences to their fields that were destroyed from this catastrophe. We want to extend our partnership and are here for any resources you may need . 💙

Another great and successful Cones with Cops event at Tre Sorelle Dolce ! Thank you to the Delaware State Police and Wyoming Police Department for the amazing collaboration and the invitation to participate !

Also thank you to Delaware Readiness for participating as well! These kids sure love their books, ice cream and their police officers!

Mark your calendars for Tuesday 8/25 at 5 pm at the Dover Police Department for our “Back to School, Board Game Night”! This event is not one you want to miss!

-FREE burgers and hotdogs
-numerous FREE school supplies and children’s books
-numerous vendors to include FREE blood pressure screening for adults orchestrated by Amerihealth
-FREE popsicles for all ages
-a chance to play on a VR headset and bond with our officers while playing board games
- another FREE bike raffle
- a chance to meet your SROs for the school year

It sure was a hot one today ☀️☀️! What a wonderful event for our Kings Cliffe MHP community! Our third annual community event was a blast for the officers and kids! Grilling, football, soccer, basketball, bonding with the community; that’s what it’s all about ☺️

Thank you to Kings Cliffe for hosting us! Our partnership is absolutely wonderful and we always cherish doing events together ! A special shout out to the Delaware State Police Community Engagement Unit always partnering and collaborating together!

Lastly, we want to extend a very special thank you to Sam’s Club (1572 N Dupont Hwy, Dover, DE) for their continued partnership. The foozeball table was a hit and we cannot thank you enough for your support towards us to provide for the community! As always, thank you.
