Thank you Mildred Whipple Library for hosting this event! Wednesday, August 19, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mildred Whipple Library in Drain for our End of Summer Reading Program Popcorn Party!🍿🎉
Combined at both libraries, our kids and teens read a total of 1,532 hours throughout the Summer Reading Program! Whipple Library took the lead by 292 hours! 🤩
Congratulations to all of our summer readers on a fantastic job!
The event is free and open to all ages. There will be plenty of popcorn and light snacks to enjoy. Please note that children under 12 must be supervised by an adult or a responsible older sibling.

Even though the Pool is closed, you can still party with the Library today, we'll be making SLIME and hanging out with some great folks from different community resource orgs! Free bike helmets, life jackets, mini beach balls, pool noodles, raffle bag, and more! Come on over today, it's cool!

Teens! Mend and upcycle clothing with us on Monday, August 3 at 1 pm. Bring your item(s) or choose some from our collection and make something new you'll be proud to wear. Needles, thread, and help provided. This event is free and designed for those entering sixth through twelfth grade.

Peppers, cukes, zucchini, berries, figs galore! Come on in to the library for fresh produce, cool climate, and good books! We'll be planting squash and marigolds today for Summer Reading from 1-3.

Produce available at the library! Plums, peppers, cucumbers, eggplant, and zucchini— all locally grown and all free. Open today Wednesday July 15 until 7 and tomorrow Thursday July 16 from 10-4.

Teens! Come publish your own ‘zine today, Monday July 13 at the library. 1 pm. Program is designed for those entering sixth through 12th grade. Free and open to all.
