This weekend, Ofc. Schwab and her partner Titan, had the opportunity to train with Greene County Search and Rescue during a great weekend of mounted training hosted by Bill Richey.

Bill is the founder and CEO of National Mounted Police Services and brings more than 30 years of experience as a mounted police officer and trainer. He has helped establish and train mounted units and has trained officers and horses across the country.

It was a great opportunity to work alongside other riders, horses, and search-and-rescue professionals while continuing to build our skills, confidence, and partnerships. Training like this is invaluable—not only for our horses, but for the teamwork and preparedness needed when these skills are called upon.

A huge thank you to Greene County Mounted Search and Rescue for hosting and to Bill Richey for a great weekend of learning, training, and camaraderie! 🐴

Always learning. Always training. Always ready.

Rest in Peace, Deputy Rickman. 💙🖤

🚧 TRAFFIC UPDATE: U.S. 33 CLOSURE 🚧

Riverside Drive Road Closure UPDATE!!

ODOT will be closing the southbound lane of Riverside Drive at McCoy Road by placing a barricade across the lane. The southbound lane will also be coned/barreled off, requiring all southbound traffic to merge into the dedicated turn lane for McCoy Road.

Additionally, ODOT will be placing a message board on McCoy Road just west of Oxford Boulevard advising US 33 traffic to use Reed Road as an alternate route.

The traffic control changes could be in place within the next day, possibly as early as today.
