📢 COMMUNITY UPDATE!

We've heard your concerns about door-to-door solicitation.

At the June 1st, 2026 Board of Trustees meeting, the Perry Township Trustees approved enhancements to the Township's Vendor and Solicitor Application Process designed to improve visibility and make it easier for residents to identify authorized canvassers.

As part of the approved changes, registered vendors and solicitors will now be required to display a township-issued identification badge on a township-issued lanyard while conducting door-to-door activities.

**Know who's at your door.**

Residents are reminded that all vendors and solicitors are required to follow Township regulations. If you observe an individual canvassing without a visible township-issued ID badge and lanyard, or otherwise violating the Township's vendor and solicitor requirements, please contact the Perry Township Police Department immediately at 614-889-1231.

Additional information, including the updated resolution and application requirements, is available on the Township website. You can also request a new "No Solicitation" sticker if you have not already done so: https://www.perrytwp.org/2171/Soliciting-Transient-Vendors

(Limit one per household to Perry Township - Franklin County residents only)

Over this past weekend, the Ann Simpson Davis Chapter DAR presented Perry Township's Davis Cemetery with an NSDAR America 250 Patriots Marker. This is a commemorative plaque placed at a site to honor individuals who served as Revolutionary War patriots — men and women who fought for American independence between 1775 and 1783. These markers are part of the America 250 Patriots Marker Project, a national initiative by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) to recognize the contributions of those who helped secure the nation’s founding. You can learn more about DAR by visiting their website: https://www.dar.org/discover/about-dar/dar-history
