Fall leaves are piling up, but before you light that burn pile, remember Ohio's seasonal burn ban!

🚫Open burning of leaves, brush, yard waste and debris is prohibited from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. in unincorporated areas of Ohio.

Dry leaves, windy conditions and one small spark can quickly lead to an out-of-control fire. Skip the flames! Consider mulching, composting or using local yard waste collection services.

Stay safe, follow local burning regulations and help prevent outdoor fires this fall!

If you are involved in or witness a traumatic accident, will you know what to do until first responders arrive? This class will teach you how to recognize an emergency, assess your surroundings, provide important information when calling 911, and give care until law enforcement or fire/EMS arrives.

This class is open to ages 13* and up. We encourage all drivers-especially new drivers-to take this course to be prepared.

Date: Wednesday, October 21
Time: 6 pm–9 pm
Location: Washington Township Administrative Offices • 6200 Eiterman Rd., Dublin, OH 43016
Fee: $10 (Township/Dublin residents), $15 (non-residents)
Duration: allow 3 hours

Each weekend, our newest part-time firefighters tackle different emergency scenarios, building their skills, confidence and ability to respond when it matters most.

This past weekend was all about vehicle extrication! 🚗💪

It’s more than learning the techniques. It’s about hands-on experience, teamwork and making sure our crews are ready.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP ZONING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

There will be a meeting of the Washington Township Zoning Commission tomorrow, October 14th at 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Township Administration Building, Town Hall, 6200 Eiterman Road, Dublin, OH 43016. The Zoning Commission shall conduct this meeting according to its rules and regulations. Among the matters to be considered at the meeting is the following:

An application by K2 Retail Development to rezone approximately 5.8 acres consisting of three parcels along the north side of S.R. 161, east of Fulk Road and bordered to the north by the Washington Township/Franklin County line. The rezoning request is from R-SR (Suburban Residential) to PCD (Planned Commercial District).
