It's time to start getting ready for an amazing school year! Our official 2026–2027 School Supply Lists are now available.

Be sure to find your scholar's grade level and use the list as you begin back to school shopping. Having the right supplies on the first day helps our students start the year confident, prepared, and ready to learn!

We've made it to our final round of the House Naming Challenge!

First, thank you to everyone who has shared ideas so far. We have been blown away by your creativity and have truly enjoyed reading every submission. Your input is helping us create a House System that reflects the values and spirit of our Kestrel Heights community.

Now it's time to focus on our next SOAR value: Ownership.

We're looking for a strong, meaningful word that represents taking responsibility, being accountable, showing initiative, and taking pride in your actions. Think of a name that inspires our scholars to own their choices, their learning, and their success.

As we continue building our House System, we're starting with our first SOAR value: Safety.

We're looking for a house name that goes beyond the word Safety—a name that represents what safety truly means in our school community. Think about the qualities, actions, and mindset that help create a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and cared for.

One example we've discussed is House Sacrifice. Why? Because creating a safe community often means putting others first, making selfless choices, and looking out for one another. While this is just one example, it gives you an idea of the type of meaningful connection we're looking for.

Something BIG is Coming to Kestrel Heights for the 2026–2027 School Year!

A new school year brings new opportunities and this year, we're introducing something that will bring our entire K–8 community together in an exciting new way.

The House System is coming to Kestrel Heights!

Get ready for a school culture built on teamwork, leadership, school spirit, and belonging. Every student will become part of a House where they'll build friendships across grade levels, celebrate achievements, participate in friendly competitions, and work together to make a positive impact throughout the year.

This is more than just a new tradition, it's a new way to connect, encourage one another, and make every student feel like they belong.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing:

The purpose behind our House System
House names, colors, and identities
How students can earn House points
Special events, competitions, and celebrations
Ways families can join in the excitement

And here's something special, we'll also be asking families to share their suggestions for House names! We can't wait to hear your ideas as we build this exciting new tradition together.

The countdown has officially begun, and we can't wait to reveal what's in store!
