Our Youth Afterschool & Youth League Soccer online registration is now active and taking registrations until Sunday September 6th! Program runs: September 8th - October 1st. Participant must be in K - 4th for Afterschool Soccer Program T/W/Th (2:15pm - 3:00pm based on grade) or K - 3rd for Youth League -non travel- M/W (3:00pm - 4:30pm). These programs are open to Katahdin region communities, and those that are homeschooled. Afterschool program is free of charge, but we will be asking for a $20 fee for the Youth League, as it will be similar to our Soccer Summer Camp, with T-shirts provided. Fee can be paid in cash or check at the first Youth League practice. ⚽️

Paper registrations are available for pick up at the East Millinocket Municipal Building, and available via school when their session begins. We can't thank our dedicated coaches enough for all their support! 💚

Despite this, our season's last weekend of weather looks great! We have our pool party this Saturday from 1:00pm to 4:30pm, and our last day this Sunday. See you there! ☀️

Get ready for some fun in the sun! ☀️ This Saturday 8/15 we will be having our end of the Summer Pool Party from 1pm to 4:30pm at the rec complex in East Millinocket. We will have a bounce house, inflatable water slide, lawn games, and plenty of food and drink to enjoy our last weekend! Our facility closes at 4:30pm on Sunday 8/16. It has been such a fun Summer, and we owe it to our staff that have been so dedicated to our kids! We thank them for all their hard work, and to all of you for joining us this season! 🏊🏽‍♂️

Our Youth Travel Soccer online registration is now active and taking registrations until Sunday September 6th! Our 3rd through 6th Grade travel program has practices Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30pm to 6:00pm and games on Saturdays starting September 12th through October 10th 9am - 12pm. Season travel schedule is available during the registration process. ⚽️

This Monday 8/10 we will be serving our next Senior Dinner at 12:00pm! This August dinner will be Picnic Style serving choices of Chicken, Egg, or Ham salad sandwiches, Italian Pasta Salad, fresh Watermelon, Chips, and fresh Blueberry and Cream Cake. Take out available starting at 12:15pm while supplies last. Cost is $5.00. Please remember to bring utensils and a plate or container. (We will have them for you if you forget.) Thank you for helping us reduce waste, and for supporting our meals! It allows us to continue keeping them at a low cost for the public. Located at the lower floor Rec Hall of the East Millinocket Municipal Building 53 Main St. Use the side alley entrance, or front entrance for stair chair use. See you there! 🥪🥗🍉🧁😋

We would like to thank all of our swimmers who came to swimming lessons this season. Also a huge thank you to the adults who brought them here three times a week. The swimming improvement for all of them were very noticeable. Today we finished out the season with some Water baseball for the older levels and diving for rings in the big pool with the younger kids!!

Please note that we have the following program cancelations today due to the inclement weather ⚠️

Both Swimming Lessons and Arts & Crafts will be canceled for this morning. The pool will also be closed for the remainder of the day. Swimming lessons testing will resume on Wednesday and Friday. If you had testing early, please be sure to stop by Wednesday or Friday so your student can receive their Learn-to-Swim achievement card. 🏊🏼‍♂️

Did you know we rent out boats with PFDs and paddles from ice out to ice in for FREE? 🛶 That's right! All we need is a notice to rent from you, we'll set up a pick up/return time, and that's it! We have 2 small personal kayaks, 4 full size personal kayaks, 5 tandem kayaks (two-seaters), and 2 canoes available. We are unable to transport these for you, but will assist with loading and unloading if needed. Boats must be secured to vehicle or trailer via your own straps or ties. Reach out to us with any questions, or if you're looking to rent these out for your end of Summer get together! We are happy to assist you, and will reply during normal business hours. ☀️
