Congratulations to Firefighter/Paramedic Andrew Michalowicz for becoming a cleared solo paramedic in Volusia County! Last week, FF Michalowicz met with our Volusia County Deputy Medical Director Dr. Justin Beyer, who evaluated his knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform as a solo paramedic. Crews had a great time helping the first grade students at Indian River Elementary School celebrate the end of the school year today! Students got the chance to cool off and have some fun getting sprayed down by the fire truck!
