🌳 Friendly Reminder: Trim Back Low-Hanging Branches! βœ‚οΈ

Is your foliage stepping into the street? Overhanging trees and shrubs can block traffic, hide road signs, and damage high-clearance vehicles like school buses, delivery trucks, and trash collection vehicles.

Safety Guidelines for Tree Clearance:
βœ… Streets & Alleys: Prune lower branches to provide vertical clearance above the roadway so large vehicles can safely pass.
βœ… 7-Foot Clearance over Sidewalks: Ensure branches hanging over public footpaths are trimmed to at least 7 feet high to keep walkways clear for pedestrians.
βœ… Sight Lines: Keep corners clear of dense foliage to maintain driver visibility at intersections and alley exits.

Property owners are responsible for maintaining trees on their property so they don't extend into the public right-of-way. Let's keep our streets safe, open, and accessible for everyone! πŸš›πŸšŒπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

Have a wonderful day!!
