Heads up, Naperville! 🚧

Crews will begin a new phase of construction along Wolf's Crossing & 95th Street this Thursday (6/18) with the installation of a 54" water main.

Here's what to expect so you can plan ahead.

95th Street (between Wolf's Crossing and 248th St.):
➡️All traffic will shift to the WB lanes, with one lane open in each direction
➡️EB lanes will fully close
➡️Lane changes will continue into the fall

Wolf's Crossing (95th St. to Olcan Rd.):
➡️This stretch will be fully closed to through traffic
➡️Local access will be maintained between Olcan Rd. And Trumpet Ave.
➡️Closure is anticipated to last through the summer

Today, local leaders and project partners celebrated the official groundbreaking of the WaterLink pipeline project! 🎉

The 30-mile water pipeline extension is a major step towards strengthening our region's water future by delivering long-term reliability, supporting community growth and providing sustainable water for generations to come.

Construction update! 🚧

Starting tomorrow (6/10), crews will begin removing medians on 95th St. between Wolf's Crossing and 248th Ave.

Here's what to expect:
➡️ Temporary lane closures in both directions (eastbound and westbound)
➡️ Work will take place between 7am and 7pm
➡️ No weekend work
➡️ This work is anticipated to last about one week, weather permitting.

Heads up, Naperville! A detour update is coming. 🚧

Wolf's Crossing will close between 95th Street and Olcan Road starting in late June while crews install a new 54" water main.

Local traffic will still be able to move between Olcan Road and Trumpet Avenue.

The closure is expected to last about one month, weather permitting.

Our latest drone video captured the work happening along the project corridor, which includes the installation of 1,900 feet of water main pipe below Book Road this past month!

If you travel through Naperville, remember the Book Road closure now extends south to 87th Street.

This project represents a decade of planning to secure a sustainable water source for Village of Montgomery, IL, Village of Oswego, Illinois and United City of Yorkville. 💧

Reminder: The Book Road detour extension begins today. 🚧

New extension (83rd Street to 87th Street):
-Only local traffic is allowed from the west on 83rd Street.
-There is no access from the east.
-This extension is expected to remain in place through the fall.

No changes to the current detour:
-Book Road from Rickert Drive to 75th Street remains open to local traffic only.
-Book Road from 75th Street to 83rd Street remains closed and is expected to reopen this summer.

Please follow posted detour signs and allow extra travel time.

Heads up! A detour update is coming. 🚧

Starting Monday, May 11, the Book Road detour will extend south to 87th Street. Preparations for this closure will begin on Friday, May 8.

No changes to the current detour:
-Book Road from Rickert Drive to 75th Street will continue to only allow local traffic.
-Book Road from 75th Street to 83rd Street will remain closed. This is anticipated to reopen this summer.

New extension (83rd Street to 87th Street):
-Only local traffic will be allowed from the west on 83rd Street.
-There will be no access from the east.
-This new extension is expected to remain in place through the fall.
