Communities across the United States are celebrating our 250th Anniversary, including Emmaus. We will be celebrating with a weekend-long festival on July, 24th, 25th and 26th with many, many activities, events, food and so much more. Visit the event section of Emmaus, PA America 250 page (1) Emmaus, PA America 250 | Facebook to see the full schedule and more information.
The 1803 House, along with the Shelter House Society, the Knauss Homestead and Gods Acre, will be open on the 25th, with each offering unique demonstrations, stories and activities. A free shuttle will travel to each historic site throughout the day. You can catch the shuttle at 2nd and Main Street.
A stroll through the 1803 House will take you back to the colonial life of the early 1800’s. Also, there will be fun with colonial toys, scavenger hunts for the kids, American Flag presentation, and so much more. We will be open from 10am to 4pm…
The Shelter House will present a live reenactment of colonial revolutionary war soldiers by the 2nd Regiment of Pennsylvania. And the Emmaus Heritage Festival will be held at the Emmaus Historical Society, from 10am to 5pm featuring live music, makers row, artisan village, food truck and displays and interactive games.
Hope to see you on the 25th...
