Today, we remember the heroes who gave their lives in service to our country. We honor the courage they carried, the sacrifices they made, and the families who continue to carry their memory every single day.

Memorial Day is a reminder that freedom has come at a tremendous cost. Behind every flag placed at a gravesite is a story, a family, and a life that mattered deeply to so many.

From all of us at Empire Fire & Rescue, we extend our deepest gratitude to the fallen and our heartfelt prayers to the loved ones they left behind. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten, and your legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of this nation.

We would like to recognize and congratulate two very special members of our department on their graduation from high school — Firefighter Cameran Parmer and Firefighter Isaiah Williams. 🎓🚒

Isaiah Williams joined Empire Fire & Rescue in January of 2024, and Cameran Parmer joined in September of 2024. Both young men began their journey with us as Junior Firefighters, and from day one they have shown outstanding hard work, dedication, determination, and a true passion for the fire service.

Since they joined, we have watched both Cameran and Isaiah grow not only as firefighters, but as young men who are always willing to learn, help others, and serve their community with pride. Their commitment and work ethic has continued as they transitioned from Junior Firefighters to Firefighters, and we could not be more proud of everything they have accomplished.

Graduating high school is a major milestone, and we know this is only the beginning of great things to come for both of them. Please join us in congratulating Cameran and Isaiah on this achievement and wishing them success in their future endeavors.

We are proud to have these two young gentlemen as part of the Empire Fire & Rescue family. ❤️🚒
