I’m excited to announce that I’ll be hosting Conversations on a Bench on October 8–9!

For 24 hours straight, we’ll be having meaningful conversations with people from all walks of life on a bench located on the Evansville Rescue Mission’s downtown campus.

My hope is simple—to listen, learn, encourage, and connect with our community one conversation at a time.

I can’t wait to see where these conversations lead, and I hope you’ll follow along. Stay tuned—there’s much more to come!

What a great day of learning and connecting! A few of our Evansville Rescue Mission young professionals had the opportunity to attend the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership Young Professionals Association (YPA) Conference on Wednesday.

They came away encouraged, inspired, and equipped with new ideas to bring back to our team. We're grateful for the opportunity to invest in the next generation of leaders and thankful to the YPA for hosting such a meaningful event. Thank you for a wonderful conference!

Your Evansville Rescue Mission's BIG PROJECT at Washington Square Mall is coming along nicely. TENTATIVELY...we are planning for a GIGANTIC DAY on September 1st when we open the new or reimagined spaces for the first time! Huge changes coming to The Thrift Store, Mission Grounds, and The Furniture Warehouse - along with the addition of The Holiday Store, Kiddos, and The Chapel! Watch for more details!!! REMEMBER: The proceeds from all of our stores stay right here in our community, providing food, clothing, shelter, and programming to our neighbors who truly need the help! Thanks for your support! It really does make a difference!

Evansville… thank you! ❤️

With only a few days’ notice, this community showed up in a big way. Last night’s John Mellencamp open rehearsal wasn’t just a great evening of music—it was an incredible reminder of what can happen when people come together to help their neighbors.

Because of your generosity, we collected:

🥫 2,140 food items
🧴 300 hygiene products
🍼 77 boxes of diapers, wipes, and feminine hygiene products
🧻 12 boxes of toilet paper and paper towels

These donations will go directly toward caring for the men, women, and children we serve every day at your ERM.

A huge thank you to the Ford Center and John Mellencamp for choosing the ERM as the beneficiary of this special event. And thank you to every person who walked through the doors carrying a donation—you made a real difference.

This community is incredible, and we’re so grateful to serve alongside you. ❤️

🇺🇸 Tonight we’re ready to R.O.C.K. in Evansville! We can’t wait to see everyone for an incredible evening with John Mellencamp supporting the Evansville Rescue Mission.

🚨TONIGHT! 🚨 Join John Mellencamp for an exclusive open rehearsal at the Ford Center in Evansville, IN on July 8.

Entry is free with Non- Perishable food items, water, diapers, and hygiene items (no bar soap) for the Evansville Rescue Mission. Evansville Rescue Mission vehicles will be parked on Main Street to accept the items before entering the building. Tickets will be distributed to those in line on a first come basis. Doors will open at 4:45.

Running from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M., the event will provide fans with a glimpse into John and the band’s preparation for the upcoming Dancing Words Tour - The Greatest Hits.
